This is a self-service kayak rental system designed for experienced paddlers to kayak in the Harbor. You MUST be comfortable with launching/taking-out your kayak rental and carrying it to and from the storage rack without assistance. If you feel like you need a little more practice or are interested in a guided tour please e-mail us here with a date and time you'd like to come back and we'll check availability for a reservation.
Kayak Rentals from the 4th Cup are only available for experienced paddlers. If you're interested in a tutorial or guided tour, please fill out the fields below and we'll check availability for a reservation
Friday - Sunday 11 am to 7 pm
A paddle, life jacket, key to unlock your kayak and release form with required signature will be provided after you show your digital receipt to the tenant. Please carry our kayaks to and from the launch site. DO NOT drag the kayaks to the launch or storage rack. Water levels rise and fall drastically, changing the condition of the launch site and length to and from the storage rack on a daily basis. Please use caution.
Once you're on the water, you have almost 3 miles of flat-water harbor to explore paddling north. You CAN NOT go beyond the MEMPHIS sign across the harbor on Mud Island paddling south from the launch. Please ask the tenant to explain this if you do not understand.
Life jackets are a requirement and must be worn. Governing agencies patrol this harbor. Be cautious of power boat traffic and wake. Stay alert and try to keep to one side of the harbor when paddling. Have a great trip and be safe!
Thank you for your interest in a tutorial or guided tour. Our team will look this over an reach out to you as soon as we can.
