If you grew up in the south, you’ve probably heard of tall tales about the dangers of boating on the Mississippi River. We encourage you to not let this myths scare from experiencing this once-of-a-kind adventure. Mark Babb, Kayak Memphis Tours’ owner, worked as a licensed riverboat pilot from 1985 to 1995. We’ve also guided Mississippi River paddling tours for over 10 years with Ghost River Rentals. Mark has trained all of ours guides to ensure every Kayak Memphis Tours customer is safe.

The Team

KM17

Kayak Memphis Tours has been renting boats and guiding trips on the Mississippi River since 2005. We began this venture by accomadating friends & family on guided river tours. These trips have ranged from Galena, Illinois all the way to Vicksburg, Mississippi. In addition, we opened Ghost River Outfitter that same year. Since then, we have had people from all over the world and walks of life join the Kayak Memphis family and use our service to get out in the water.
